We decided to skip Lafayette and go straight to Baton Rouge about 128 miles away. We left with cloud and fog but arrived after several stops, at the Baton Rouge KOA for the night. (Just have to say it was not a good trip in, as we made two stops, unhitched the cars, got turned around …not good, but we did get out of that park) That being said, we are here at the KOA, had a wonderful relaxing afternoon and we’re looking forward to our 80 mile drive to New Orleans tomorrow where we will stay seven days at Pontchartrain Landing, waterfront RV Park in downtown New Orleans. We are however, a week early, so we are planning the extra days somewhere along the line…
