Monday, September 13

Today we completed a one day tour of The Glacier National Park/Going-to-the-Sun Roadway. We travelled 373 miles/600 kms, 11 hours in total, from Missoula direct to the West Gate, across to St. Mary at the East Gate and back again, all in sunshine. Lots of road construction in the Park, (Keep America Working) but it will be wonderful when all 50 miles are done. Overall, B was disappointed with his second visit! However, R, for her first visit is glad to say that “I’ve been there, done that”.

We broke it up by driving up on the east side of Flathead Lake and returning on the west side, so we really got a feel for the countryside.

Called Ottawa tonight, but, hay Ottawa! you’re having a big big storm! Cell service was not so good. You need some Missoula, Montana weather, 72 and sunshine at 6:30pm.

Tuesday is going to be an overdue laundry day and Wednesday morning we have an appointment for the rear shocks, which leaves us uncertain, were we will spend Wednesday night!

But, all is coming together!
Hugs,
R & B
