Sept.23, Thursday and Friday Sept. 24

After a restful hotel night, lite breakfast, a trip to Walmart and Campers World we returned to the Truck Center only to be told they would need all day.
So, we decided to drive to Bellevue in the pouring rain to check out our next RV Park.  It looked good so we booked 4 nights and since we had bought lunch at Walmart we stayed, eat in the car and watched the fog and rain over the lake.  Next we decided to visit the Boeing “Future of Flight Aviation Center and Tour” in Everett.  The rain had stopped by the time we arrived and our tour started at 2:30.  The Boeing Company and the Everett product line include the 747, 777 and all new 787.  Tour got us into the largest building in the world by volume, so it was a very interesting experience. (No purses/camera’s allowed)  We didn’t get away from there till almost 5pm and thought “Oh boy” we are really going to be in rush hour traffic, but, no we breezed back to Mt. Vernon and the Valley Truck Centre by 6:00, only to be told it would be a few more hours.  So, off out for supper to the Skagit River Brewery!  Great spot, they had a guitarist singing old Bob Dillon tones and our supper was more than enough plus we killed almost two hours.
We returned to the garage by 9:00pm – bus is still not done and they continued to do a few things before driving it out onto their lot.  We spent the night here, as we certainly need to do a test drive tomorrow.
Sept. 24, Friday
We didn’t sleep well in the parking lot at the Valley Truck Center, got the bus back into the shop by 8:00am and took off for breakfast.  We found the Mt. Vernon CafĂ© and the place was full, so we knew we would get a good breakfast.  And we did!  We returned to the garage and they were back working on the motor home.  Bruce had checked the front wheel bearings and found they had not put enough oil back in and they had even taken it for a test drive last night!  That left us worried about more damage.  They had to remove the wheels again and rectify that. (No damage) They thought they found our noise in the front under/beside the passenger seat.  Some bolts holding the body to the frame had come loose, so they fixed that.   But, unfortunately that was not the problem.  This is two truck centers later and nobody can figure out what is causing the noise.  They all have said it’s perfectly safe to drive, so we will continue on.  With all new rear brakes plus many new parts, we got underway at 9:45.
We are settled into the Vasa RV Park in Bellevue for 4 nights and are having a restful afternoon.  Very poor internet service here!
