Sept. 24, Saturday in Seattle

We had a wonderful sunshine, about 80 degrees, rain/cloud free day, so we made the very best of it.
Went to visit Maria and it was good to see her again and her three beautiful children.  They have a beautiful house in the Bellevue area with lots of privacy and she was just 8 miles from our park.
We then went downtown Seattle directly to the Space Needle.  Got our tickets and soon we were 520’ up overlooking Seattle from all sides.  Great experience!  We then started our walk around the downtown, first heading to the water.  Took a while but we finally found access to the waterfront!  We decided to go on the one hour harbour cruise and that was so nice with all that sunshine and warm weather.  Then we found our way to Pike Place Market and it was just packed with people.  So we found a not so quiet spot called Lowell’s and had an early supper or late lunch?  I had cod fish, cold slaw and fries which, was close to the best I have ever had.  B had a fish sandwich, but had to help me finish my meal, so that’s why I think we had an early supper.
We wondered around the Market, there were fresh fish, fresh fruit and vegetables, plus so much more. It was now 4:30 and we were just exhausted, so started our climb up hill back to the Space Needle parking lot.
Back now and enjoying our water front property, we even have a bride and groom in having some wedding pictures taken, we fed the little ducks and are going to relax for the rest of the evening.
They say we could have more rain tomorrow, so guess we will just have to wait and see what tomorrow does bring.  (Was going to add a picture but that link seems to have stopped working??)
