Sept. 28, Tuesday

                              Guess, I lost the 27th?
We are now in the Sand Castle RV Park in Long Beach, WA right on the Pacific Ocean.  Our first time (this trip) to really see the ocean!  We drove from Bellevue down to Olympia, across on Highway #8 to the 101 and then south to Raymond, and onto Long Beach, 177 miles.  We had a mixed bag of weather driving here, but since arriving at 2ish the sun has been out and it's just lovely.  We went for a long walk on the beach which is across the street from the Park.  The beach is classified as a highway and cars can drive on it. But we would need Carol & Larry’s Tracker!
There are lots of beach condos and a great Boardwalk plus a paved 8 mile pathway, so we should get some exercise here!  We might get the bikes off and go for a ride since we are here for 3 nights.  There is another park just up the road and it's on the beach, so we may go there for a couple more nights, if, we feel like staying here longer. Tomorrow will be a sight seeing day in the car, the 101 is pretty narrow in places!
The weather looks good for a couple of days and we really would like to see that happen. A little good weather luck!
We are yet again experiencing some mechanical problems.  The bus is not running smoothly at all! It skips a beat on the up hills.  Thought maybe water in the gas, a blown spark plug? We went to an auto parts store and purchased new spark plugs and Bruce is in the process of changing them now.  But when he pulled one plug, something fell out of it????  We just paid a lot to have new plugs installed before we left Ottawa.  I can see a worried look on his face.  He’s had to go back to the parts store to get the correct plugs...... OK this is our third and hopefully final problem.
With today's mileage we are 3,105 bus miles from home and we have put over 1,500 miles on the car.
Keep your fingers crossed for us!
Hugs
