Sept. 15, Wednesday

It was a successful day!  Said farewell to Jim & Mary’s RV Park and were at the I-State Truck Center at 8:45.  Got the repairs done to the bus, two new shocks, new differential breather with oil and a couple of other things checked and found no problems. Plus we were even happy with the repair bill!  We got on the road to Coeur D’Alene, 163 miles away by 12:30, went through another time change, so we where here by 2:30.
(We are now 3 hours earlier than Ottawa).
We are in the Blackwell Island RV Resort which is right on Blackwell Island (Sandpoint) on the Spokane River, which is at the mouth of Coeur D’Alene Lake.  Beautiful spot and we have had a great chat with a lovely couple from Calgary, Alberta and walked the entire 172 site park twice. Temperature was 80 in Spokane and we are about 30 miles east.  We booked two nights here because it is so nice, but, could get a bit of rain tomorrow.  That will not stop us from exploring the town which was named by the French fur trappers in 1878.  Alos, lots of gold and silver mining here.
I understand several of you are not getting our location on the Google Map…I don’t know why!  I haven’t even done my posting yet and it shows just exactly where we are. Will try to get that figures out???  Anyone got any idea suggestions?
Anyway, that’s the news of the day.
Hugs
