Sept.25-26, Sunday and Mondy

Sept. 25, Sunday
It rained all day, so we relaxed and got into a couple of good books.
B finished off a David Baldacci, True Blue – he’s not sure he liked the ending!  I am into Lee Child, Gone Tomorrow; it just keeps growing page by page!

Sept. 26, Monday
Still raining a little this morning when we left for Port Orchard.  We took scenic roads down through Newcastle, but it was I-5 to Tacoma, then WA-16 to Gig Harbour.  We enjoyed a walk about the town as the sun had finally started to come out and the temperature was heating up.  We managed to find back roads to Port Orchard, got a few pictures of the Puget Sound Navy Shipyard in Bremerton.  From there we traveled out Hwy #3 to #101 and around to Olympia (Capitol of Washington State) but the sky had clouded over, the drizzle started and it was going on 4:00 rush hour, so we just headed back to “our” waterfront property in Bellevue, where the temp had risen to an overcast 82 and by 9:30 it’s still 72.
We discovered the laundry room and completed two loads of washing.
Tomorrow we hit the highway again for somewhere south!  Right now the plan is to head to Long Beach for a day or two, which is on the Pacific Ocean and our first real stay on the Pacific Ocean.
