Sept 11, Saturday

We left Gardiner at 9 am and drove 290 miles to Missoula, Montana, arrival temperature 72 breezy sunny degrees. It was a great driving day; lots of sun and big sky with only the odd spots coming down off the mountains, when we were hit with head on high winds. Montana is full of beautiful rolling hills and valleys with lots of cattle and horse farms. It’s all very rural with old fashioned looking farms and antique/obsolete farm equipment abandoned in farm fields.

Since it is Saturday/Sunday we were not able to get the shock fixed, but, are hoping Monday will see us repaired and on the road again.

We are staying in the Jim & Mary's RV Park, they are Good Sams so the price is right plus the place is very nice!

Sunday we are doing a round trip to Glacier National Park and the weather forecast looks great.
